Maida Parotta is a popular Indian flatbread made from refined wheat flour (maida), typically enjoyed as a snack or served with curries, stews, or gravy dishes. It is soft, flaky, and crispy, often served with meat or vegetable curries in South Indian cuisine, particularly in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The dough is kneaded with water, oil, and sometimes salt, then rolled out into thin layers, stacked, and cooked on a hot griddle (tawa) with a little oil or ghee.
